Senior Information Services is an approved provider of Continuing Education Units (CEU's) for Social Workers by the Texas Social Worker Board of Examiners. Our classes are usually offered free of any charge to attendees, as they are usually underwritten and sponsored by various healthcare providers.

An Introduction to the Medicaid Maze

This one-hour format is the "microwavable" form of our comprehensive Medicaid Maze course. We cover the basics of Medicaid Eligibility and estate planning for individuals who have experienced an unexpected healthcare event or a disability that requires long term care. This class can be structured as an in-service for your facility or property.

The Medicaid Maze

This three-hour course is a comprehensive study of the Medicaid Aged and Disabled program. Covered topics include resource eligibility, income eligibility, non-financial requirements, spousal impoverishment provisions, gifting and transfer penalties, Miller Trusts, wills, trusts, and advance directives.
